A big thank you to all the families who came along to the Curriculum Information Evening on Thursday.
It was great to see so many families finding out ‘how you can help with learning at home.’

SNAG Golf
  • Last week we had our first fun lesson - these lessons will continue for the next 3 weeks
  • Room 12’s lessons are each Friday
  • Don’t forget - children are able to bring sports clothes/shoes to wear for these sessions
Reminder:
No kicking balls on the concrete please

  • Please do not play soccer on the concrete outside the classes before, during or after school due to the risk of injury and damage to windows.
  • In Autumn/Winter the grass areas are also out of bounds to prevent accidents, uniforms getting dirty and mud being taken into classrooms.
  • Once the good weather returns, our beautiful fields and grass areas will be open again for more soccer fun.
Reading
  • Please remember to read to and/or with your child nightly.
  • Children of all ages and abilities benefit from both hearing adults read to them as well as reading their own books to you.
  • Hearing an adult read enables children to hear what great reading is like.
  • Encouraging your child to imagine the book in their head as they read (or make a movie of the book in their imagination) is also a great skill that helps children retell each story and correctly answer questions about it.
Uniform
  • Please ensure every item of your child’s uniform is named.
  • If your child is found to be wearing a non-uniform item, they will be asked to remove it and a letter will be sent home with your child explaining what changes need to be made.
Class blogs
  • Please check your child’s class blog for weekly letters and other info.
  • Take a look at our latest photos of our learning and other school events
